Growing up in Eastern Europe and being surrounded by art inspired me to start painting at a young age. However, after moving to Canada, I put my painting on hold until just after my retirement, when I felt motivated to pick it up again. I have participated in only two exhibitions: one solo exhibition and one group exhibition.
My style has evolved; I began with fine art and am now transitioning to Impressionism. While some painters opt for detailed and refined artwork, I prefer not to replicate photographs. Instead, I enjoy painting in a way that conveys a clear idea of the subject. When you look at my paintings up close, you can see the vibrant brush strokes, and as you step back, those strokes blend together to form a cohesive image. That’s the magic of painting for me! It allows you to use your imagination and truly engage with the artwork.
